Ultracap cells: 100F to 500F
The market defines medium cells as capacities from 100F to 500F. They are available with operating voltages of 2.7V. The contacts are usually designed as snap-in. A special variant is the 325F cell from Nesscap with low internal resistance and pin contacts for higher current stability. Screw or welded contacts are also possible.

Typical applications for this cell category are UPS applications in robots, machines, pitch control in wind turbines, cranes and dynamic voltage stabilisers (DVR). But also torches and electric screwdrivers belong to the examples where these products replace batteries.
