Ultracaps of up to 5000F and ceramic capacitors with a few picofarads represent the cornerstones of this product group.

As energy storage devices, capacitors are indispensable components in electrical engineering. They are used, for example, when voltages have to be filtered or buffered or when load peaks have to be absorbed. Which technology is used depends on the respective application.

Ultracaps are used in energy storage systems, emergency lighting systems or street lighting, UPS or as a safety voltage supply in decentralised applications such as the locking system in cars.
Electrolytic capacitors are installed in power supply units, filter assemblies or also as energy storage devices in test systems. Film capacitors in converters, as coupling elements in telecommunications applications and ceramic capacitors in oscillating circuits or filters are just a few of the many examples of capacitor applications.
