The ULN2803A are monolithic high voltage and high current Darlington transistor arrays. Each consists of eight NPN Darlington pairs that have high voltage outputs with common mode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. The collector current of a single Darlington pair is 500 mA. The Darlington pairs can be connected in parallel to achieve a higher current. Applications include relay drivers, hammer drivers, lamp drivers, indicator drivers (LED and gas discharge), line drivers and logic buffers.
