Fast Recovery Diodes

A Fast Recovery Diode (FRD) is a diode with PN junction that can switch between on and off mode for an extremely short time. Due to the faster switching between forward and reverse-biased operation, which is expressed in the on and off switching behavior and is called the reverse delay time, the reverse current and the power dissipation of the FRD diode are reduced.

The chips of the NAINA Fast Recovery power diodes are passivated with glass and are built in highly reliable, robust, hermetically sealed package structures. They are mechanically strong and robust even under difficult environmental conditions.
These devices have low power losses, high surge current capability, low leakage current and stability at high currents.
These fast power diodes are used in various applications such as power supplies, motor controls, consumer electronics, lighting, telecommunications equipment, welding machines, battery chargers, etc.

The current range is from 6A to 400A, at voltages up to 600V.
The diodes are available in stud and flat bottom packages as well as with metric and UNF threads.

Important note: The technical data mentioned in the store at the articles are meant as an orientation and are without guarantee. The binding data are mentioned in the manufacturers data sheets or specifications. As a rule, these can be called up directly in the article area or can be requested from us.

Pictures usually show the design of the components and not necessarily the real components. Please check the technical data sheets for appearance and dimensions.
