Ultracap Module: 5V to 16V

The small modules usually consist of the series connection of several corresponding single cells. The number of single cells results from the nominal voltage divided by 2.5 as the nominal voltage of the cells. This takes safety into account.

These small modules have proved very successful in typical applications where, for example, button cells or other smaller batteries have been used up to now. For example, in control systems to load status data into "non-volatile memory" in the event of a power failure, but also as primary energy storage devices in electronic meters for transmitting measurement data by radio. (AMR = Automatic Meter Reading).
