Ultracaps - Supercaps

Ultracaps, also known as Supercaps, are increasingly being used in many areas as battery replacements or as supplements to conventional batteries. Ultracaps are ideal for covering short-term peak power and for recuperation (energy recovery). In the technical literature, they can be found under the designations double layer capacitor (DLC) or electric double layer capacitor (EDLC).
Depending on the application, cells or modules are used.
