ECAP- Electrolytic Capacitors

ECAP - electrolytic capacitors

Capacitors are polarized electrochemical capacitors. They can reach very high voltage values with a relatively low capacity compared to other capacitors like ultracaps or battery caps. In the core of this type of capacitor is an anode metal with a roughened surface, which is so larger than a smooth surface. The specific capacitance is therefore relatively high. The high voltage capability of the oxidation layer and the resulting extremely thin dielectric also contribute to this.
Capacitors are used in the whole electrical engineering in many different ways - there is hardly a device which does not contain a capacitor.

The technology itself is not new, but has proven itself over decades. A precise configuration is essential, however, since wrongly selected electrolytic capacitors are in danger of drying out and losing capacity. CAPCOMP offers you a wide range of electrolytic capacitors of the brands SAMWHA and AiSHi. We will be pleased to advise you on the configuration and correct dimensioning of your electrolytic capacitors.

Important note: The technical data mentioned in the store at the articles are meant as an orientation and are without guarantee. The binding data are mentioned in the manufacturer data sheets or specifications. These can usually be called up directly in the article area or can be requested from us.

Pictures usually show the design of the components and not necessarily the real components. Please check the technical data sheets for appearance and dimensions.
